Magento: Delete Magento Test Orders From sql query

In this article I'm discussing about how to delete magento test order from mysql query because there is no way in Magento to delete those test orders which were made while testing the Magento store. You can only chnage these order status as “Cancelled” but you can’t delete those test orders from your magento store from admin panel.

In order to delete these test orders you have to log in to your PhpmyAdmin from cpanel using full access and run few queries to get rid of those test orders.

Go to your PhpMyAdmin and run SQL Query:

SET FOREIGN_KEY_CHECKS=0;

  TRUNCATE `sales_order`;
  TRUNCATE `sales_order_datetime`;
  TRUNCATE `sales_order_decimal`;
  TRUNCATE `sales_order_entity`;

  TRUNCATE `eav_entity_store`;
  ALTER TABLE  `eav_entity_store` AUTO_INCREMENT=1;

  SET FOREIGN_KEY_CHECKS=1;

After exceute these sql query, all the test orders, customer orders, logs etc are deleted from your Magento store.
