WhatsApp Contact & Share extension is a perfect tool to improve user experience as it lets customers to directly contact store owner via WhatsApp. With the help of this extension, admin can change the default mobile number and push text anytime from store backend.
The WhatsApp product share feature allows the users to share product link through WhatsApp when browsing the store through a mobile device. When the user clicks on the WhatsApp share button on the product detail page it redirects the user to the WhatsApp contact list (if WhatsApp installed) then the user can share that product information with page links. In this extension, we also allowed the custom message with product page URL. Admin can enable Whatsapp Share button on the Magento product details page from the backend easily.
Once you install this module, you need to enable extension from the store backend. After that, you have to enter your default WhatsApp contact number and push message for user convenience.

To use WhatsApp Contact & Share extension, a WhatsApp account is required for the customer and admin and if you don’t have a WhatsApp account, then you need to create an account using your mobile number. After that, you can share the product details on WhatsApp. WhatsApp is a free application to download on iOS and Android and there is no additional fee for using it. You may either use WhatsApp business or your personal WhatsApp.

Installation:
After finishing purchasing process, we will immediately send you an email containing the link to download the extension or Download the extension's package from your Mageefy Customer Account. Please follow the below steps to install the extension.
- Step 1: Unpack/Unzip the contents of the zip folder that you have downloaded.
- Step 2: Connect to your website source folder with FTP/SFTP/SSH client as a user who has permissions to write to the Magento file system
- Step 3: Upload all the files and folders from the extension's installation package to the corresponding root folder of your Magento installation
- Step 4: Via SSH, navigate to the Magento 2 root directory and run this command to enable the extension:
php bin/magento module:enable Mageefy_WhatsAppChat - Step 5: Now, run the following command
- php bin/magento setup:upgrade
- php bin/magento setup:static-content:deploy
- Step 6: Then clear the cache. Go to Admin -> SYSTEM -> Tools -> Cache Management, selecting all caches, clicking “refresh” from the drop-down menu, and submitting the changes.
- Now the module is enabled in the system and it is ready to be configured and used.
